Decided to give a go to homemade guacamole. So many variations out there I chose to keep it simple and pair it with some sirloin cut fajita style.
Starting with the steak, I sliced it against the grain and marinated it in some balsamic dressing for an hour or so.
Then I sliced the avacado. I used one in case it sucked 🙂
Mashed it with a fork, adding a little Tabasco, black pepper, and some minced garlic.
In a non-stick skillet on a little more than medium high heat, I put some evoo and real butter, not plastic. Add the steak.
3 minutes on each side, or until it is done like you want.
Total and complete nom freakin’ nom for like 6 bucks. I can have this every night, takes all of 15 minutes not counting how long you marinate. I sliced the steak, marinated it, and went to the gym. Came back and fired it up.
