Primal Santa Fe Roast
Here’s a quick and easy recipe for you slow cooker types.
Beef Chuck Roast
Dry rub/taco seasoning
To do this cut up your roast into rough cubes.
Dry rub with seasoning if you like, this is optional. A lot of different seasonings are primal.
Put cubed chuck in a pan with a bit of evoo and just quickly brown it on all sides.
Transfer cubed chuck to slow cooker and add salsa, I like Herdez, it is very primal off the shelf. You could use homemade salsa if you like.
Cover it and let it go for 4 to 5 hours….
Done, the original recipe said serve with tortillas, I opt out for that but will probably hit the sour cream. I imagine this is very good with sweet potatoes and with an egg for breakfast. We’ll see.
